For further information or more ideas on how to support your child’s learning, please contact Beth Hawkey, youth services supervisor.

Teachers

Educator Accounts

For teachers, we offer a special account with no fines or fees. With an Educator Card, you can check out up to 30 items from the library for classroom use.

Literacy Bags

Literacy bags offer parents, teachers, and daycare providers a selection of 10 books on one theme. The Main Library in Hillsborough has over 40 themes to choose from. These include picture book materials for preschool-age children and non-fiction titles based on school curricula from Kindergarten through 5th grade.

Resources for Your Students

SEA Accounts

With our Student Easy Access (SEA) accounts, kids have unlimited access to our digital resources and can check out up to 10 items. We charge no fines or fees for late materials on these accounts.

Free Library Events

The library plays an important support role in educating children. We offer storytimes for children ages birth to five, free STEAM events for children of all ages, a book club for kids grades 3 to 5, and family-friendly activities. Check our calendar for more information.
