NOTE: Before you complete your order, choose the location you would like to use to pick up your materials, Hillsborough, Cybrary, or Carrboro Branch.
When Items Are Ready for Pick Up
You will receive an email and a phone message with instructions on how to make a curbside appointment. You may not change pickup location after you receive this email.
If you have multiple orders, you do not need to make separate appointments. Feel free to ask about this when you arrive so we can double check!
You will have 14 days to pick up your materials.
Please do not drop by for your materials unless you have received an email or phone confirmation of an appointment.
Remember to bring your library card with you.
Curbside service includes many new safety procedures. We are isolating items between the time they are returned to the library and when you check them out, and our staff must remain physically distant from customers and each other. These extra precautions add time to processing requests.
Calling the Library If you call the library outside of our operating hours, you may leave a message, and someone will get back with you during the next business day. If you do not want to leave a message, email us a firstname.lastname@example.org or call us back during operating hours.
Returning Items Even though we are not assessing fines while the libraries are closed, please return your items as soon as you can. Others may be waiting to check them out.
Please use our drive-thru book drops to return DVDs, books, video games and CDs. We will ask for hotspots, oversized items, and Literacy Bags and Book Club Kits at another time.
