The Animal Services Department is responsible for Animal Control and Animal Sheltering activities within Orange County.  

It's mission is to meet the needs of residents by working with volunteers and other partners to deliver cost-effective and integrated sheltering and animal control services that ensure the health, safety and well being of humans, pets and the community as a whole.  Addressing the problem of pet overpopulation with a proactive and positive approach is an integral ingredient of the department’s mission.

Web Licensing is now available for all Annual Pet License renewals and new registrations.  Visit our licensing page to license your pet online!

 

Donations - We can now accept donations online!  Make a secure donation in a number of areas of care by visiting the Community Giving Fund page (click image to your right).

 

We also have direct orders available for some of our most needed supply items! See our donation page for a listing of those!

Spay Neuter Day

November 11

Sign up by October 28th!  Free Spay/Neuter for pets of qualifying Orange County residents.  Contact Sarah to find out if you qualify at sfallin@orangecountync.gov or by phone at 919-942-7387 ext. 224.
