Orange County announces closings for Juneteenth

Orange County Government will be closed Friday, June 18, in observance of Juneteenth. COVID-19 Walk-In Vaccine Clinics and COVID-19 testing sites will be closed.

Please note the following exceptions:

• Curbside recycling will be collected under the normal schedule, but all manned Waste and Recycling Centers and the Landfill will be closed.
• OCPT will operate limited service serving the in-county dialysis route only (Carolina Dialysis). In order to provide two working days' notice for scheduling, trip requests for Monday, June 21, must be received by 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 16.

Services that are open on weekends, such as the Waste and Recycling Centers and the landfill, will resume normal operations Saturday.
