  1. Computer Class at the Cybrary -- Doing More with Word

    Computer Class: Doing More with Word - Cybrary This class picks up where Word Basics left off. In this class, you will learn how to modify toolbars, how to apply advanced formatting options including bulleted lists, how to create tables, columns and adjust margins, and how to insert text boxes and symbols. The Community Workshop Series is a series of introductory computer classes held each semester in partnership with UNC.   1. Shred-A-Thon

    October 27, 2018, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ Hampton Point Shopping Center Recycling dropoff behind Home Depot

    Event is limited to residents and small businesses in Orange County and that part of the Town of Chapel Hill in Durham County, as well as government employees of the County and the Towns of Carrboro, Chapel Hill and Hillsborough. Each participant is limited to four bags or boxes of confidential paper. Participants can help ensure enough capacity for everyone by limiting the type of paper they bring for shredding. Only documents that are truly confidential in nature such as financial or medical records should be shredded. Incidental tape and staples are OK, but please no plastics, metals, digital media, and other non-paper items.
