  1. ART SHOW - Jewelry Show Featuring Charley Norwood - Seymour

    October 30, 2018, 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ Seymour Center

    Celebrate with Charley Mae Norwood this fall as she showcases hand-made sewing projects made with seed beads. She will also feature unique pieces created with crystals and pearls. Show will be on display until Tue, Nov 27. Hostesses will be: Fung Little and Paula Morvan with live music by Horace Sher.

  2. Dementia Education Collaborative - Efland-Cheeks

    October 30, 2018, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Efland-Cheeks Community Center

    The Dementia Education Collaborative, educational sessions designed to provide basic information about dementia to any interested individual, will continue being held at both centers with a slightly less frequent schedule. Aging Transition Team members and community partners will provide instruction.

  1. Tiny Tots Storytime

    Main Library Meeting Room. Children from walkers to age 3 and their caregivers are invited to participate in a 25-minute interactive program that incorporates age-appropriate books, rhymes, music, and movement. (30-minute Stay and Play follows this storytime.)

    Main Library Meeting Room. Kids Explore, a program for Grades K-2, provides hands-on STEAM activities to engage children’s creativity and problem solving skills. The children are given opportunities to explore monthly themes from different angles about a variety of topics while socializing with their peers at the library.
