The Orange County Manager's Department oversees the 23 departments that make up Orange County to assure adequate levels of service are provided to residents as efficiently as possible. The Department implements the policies of the Board of County Commissioners and coordinates, monitors and evaluates the day-to-day operations of the County.
County Manager's Responsibilities
Serves as a liaison between County Commissioners, County Departments and residents
- Oversees the development, presentation and administration of the annual Operating budget and Capital Investment Plan
- Investigates and develops strategies for improving service delivery
- Provides the technical and management components for major County endeavors
