Orange County Invites Public to Estate Planning Workshops
ORANGE COUNTY, NC (June 6, 2017)— Orange County Department on Aging invites the public to take advantage of free estate planning workshops being conducted by two local attorneys.
The sessions are free, and all meetings will be held from 2-4 p.m.
The two-part series of workshops on Estate Planning will address these topics and the following issues:

Presenter Steve Lackey, Attorney-at-Law will cover the following topics:
June 26– Testamentary Planning for Your Property: Who, What, Where, When, and How
Topics: Financial Powers of Attorney, Retirement Benefits, Health Care Powers of Attorney, Long Term Health Care, and Living Will.
June 27– Transferring Property by Gift, During Life and Beyond
Topics: Lifetime Gifts, Wills, Trusts, Joint Property, Beneficiary Designations, and Transfer Taxes
Chapel Hill Workshops

Presenter Beth Tillman, Attorney-at-Law, will cover the following topics:
June 26 – Planning for Incapacity

Topics: Wills, Living Trusts, Life Insurance, Retirement Benefits, Organ Donation, and Disposition of Remain
