This fund was created to honor our dear friend, Evelyn Daniel, who passed away peacefully in November 2019. She was not only a life-long animal lover and beloved member of our Animal Services Advisory Board, but she was also well known as Dean and Professor Emerita with the UNC School of Information and Library Science at Chapel Hill. For anyone interested in donating, you may send any monetary donations to our Orange County Animal Services Center (1601 Eubanks Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27516) to the attention of "The Community Giving Fund: Evelyn Daniel Animal Sponsorship Fund."
