The Orange County Youth Basketball League is a developmental and recreational program for girls ages 7- to 10-years-old and all athletes ages 11- to 17-years-old. Every division is co-rec except for the 7-10 Girls Division. Volunteer coaches will work with the children to improve individual skills in dribbling, passing, and shooting, while instilling values in teamwork and sportsmanship. Players will be placed on teams through a mandatory skills assessment process. Requests for coaches and teammates are not guaranteed.
The league will operate on weekday evenings and Saturdays. In the preseason, teams will practice twice per week. Once games begin, teams will have one practice per week up to one hour on a weekday evening and Saturday games. The season will conclude with a single-elimination tournament.
