County Departments provide information about the impact of their programs through the SMART Goals presentation. SMART stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-Bound.
Each goal is written to communicate each of those aspects clearly to the public, and each goal has attached data to communicate the goal’s success or progress. Goals can either be displayed with data, often displayed as a line graph, or as a series of specific milestones to complete a project.
Starting in FY 2022-23, SMART Goals will be presented biannually; as a stand-alone presentation each winter, and within the annual budget document each summer.
