Curbside Service Is In Place
Before Covid, we often filled holds requests within the same day. That is no longer the case.
Curbside service includes new safety procedures. We are isolating items between the time they are returned to the library and when you check them out, and our staff must remain physically distant from customers and each other. These extra precautions add time to processing requests.
As we become more familiar with these new tasks and precautions, we will be able to speed up service by including additional appointment times in the evenings and on the weekends.
To help us safely and effectively deliver service to you, please note:
- Curbside pickup service is by appointment only, and you will receive an email or a phone call asking you to make set up that time. Please do not drop by the library to see if your items are ready.
- If you call the library outside of the hours Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. you may leave a message, and someone will get back with you during our next business day. If you do not want to leave a message, email us a email@example.com or call us back during our operating hours.
How to Place An Order
If you currently have holds in place –
Log in to your library account and remove any holds you no longer want. If you don’t know how to delete holds, you’ll find a short video on our YouTube channel to guide you through the process.
If you’re new to the holds process or have never accessed your online account –
Follow this link to the library account landing page. In the upper right hand side of the screen, click on the blue “Login” button and you will be taken to your account page. How You'll Know You Can Pick Up Your Items
You will receive an email and a phone message with instructions on how to make a curbside appointment. For the time being, we are not sending text alerts. You will have 14 days to pick up your materials. Please do not drop by at the library unless you have received an email or phone confirmation of an appointment or to use our book drops.
