Orange County Board of Commissioners
Business Meeting Agenda for October 20, 2020
Due to current public health concerns, the Orange County Board of Commissioners will be conducting a virtual business meeting on October 20, 2020. Members of the Board of Commissioners will be participating in the meeting remotely. Members of the public will be able to view and listen to the meeting and have the opportunity to provide public comment. The public may submit written comments by sending an email to email@example.com. Individuals who wish to speak must pre-register using the instructions included in the agenda.
As in prior meetings, the meeting will be streamed in real-time on the County’s website for public viewing/listening at http://www.orangecountync.gov/967/Meeting-Videos . There will also be real-time broadcast on Spectrum Cable and video-recording for future television broadcast and reference on the County’s website.

a. Resolution of Recognition for Judicial District 15-B Senior Resident Superior Court Judge Carl R. Fox Upon His Retirement
The Board will consider voting to approve a resolution recognizing Judicial District 15-B Senior Resident Superior Court Judge Carl R. Fox upon his retirement and authorize the Chair to sign.
b. Resolution Honoring and Remembering Reverend Robert E. Seymour
The Board will consider voting to adopt a resolution honoring and remembering the life and service of Reverend Robert E. Seymour to the people of Orange County and authorize the Chair to sign.
c. Resolution Regarding the Hyde Amendment
The Board will consider voting to approve a proposed Resolution Calling For Repeal of the Hyde Amendment and Supporting the Right of All Women To Safe and Comprehensive Health Care and authorize the Chair to sign.

The Board will consider reviewing and taking action on applicant initiated Zoning Atlas Amendments for 3 parcels west of Old NC Highway 86/south of Interstate 40 to Master Plan Development Conditional Zoning (MPD-CZ) district. Specifically, the Board will be finalizing on an application submitted by Terra Equity Incorporated to rezone parcels:
