DEMENTIA – LET’S TALK ABOUT IT
Join OCDoA’s dementia care specialists for a conversation around topics related to dementia education, living with cognitive change, and being a dementia caregiver. We will provide 15-30 minutes of education at the start of the hour, and the remaining time will be spent in conversation, Q&A, and resource-sharing around the day’s topic. Grab your preferred morning beverage and join us! You may register for one or multiple sessions.

TRANSGENDER HEALTH PROGRAM
According to the Human Rights Campaign, the United States is estimated to have over 2 million people who identify as transgender. Join us for an engaging and insightful presentation with UNC Medical Center- Dept. of Urology Transgender Health Program Nurse Educator, Shae Bardgett. Participants will learn updated information about transgender health, information about gender reassignment surgery services, and how UNC Medical Center- Dept. of Urology is making great strides in transgender healthcare for North Carolina.

MOTHER’S DAY MUSICAL
Join us to kick off Mother’s Day weekend with a unique musical duet.  Paula C Snyder, vocalist and musician celebrates more than 20 years of special occasion performances with her daughter, Amber M Smith.  The two playfully interact while entertaining, singing their favorite show tunes, oldies, ballads, and other enchanting selections. CULINARY EXPERIENCE SPRING PICNIC
You’re in for a treat. Enjoy a delicious meal prepared by the talented culinary students from Durham Tech. Participants must register to be entered into the drawing. PASSMORE COOKOUT – TAILGATE PARTY
It’s a party! Join us for dinner, fun, and live entertainment. Our entertainment, Daniel and Matt, play a variety of music from James Taylor, Johnny Cash, Bob Marley, Dave Matthews and much more. The Center will be making grilled hotdogs and will provide all of the fixins, sides, and a drink.Tailgate takes place in the rear parking lot. STORYTIME ADVENTURE WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT
Come on a magical journey with the Intergenerational SRT as members from our local law enforcement agencies perform We’re Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen.  Officers from Chapel Hill, Carrboro, and Hillsborough Police Departments along with Deputies from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office will entertain you with story, music and laughter.  Let’s go on an adventure! (Play will be viewed from designated spaces to ensure social distancing practices). Free hotdog lunch provided.  Each child will receive a free grab bag to take home.
