Orange County Recreation Academic Programs and Fall Youth Leagues

Orange County Recreation is now accepting registration for early Fall programs including After School, Preschool Academy, Fall Youth Soccer Leagues, and Youth Flag Football Leagues.

Currently due to covid-19 registration is being accepted online or via the telephone. To register by phone, call 919-245-2660 during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.). Online registration is available at www.orangecountync.gov/ActivityRegistration. If you need assistance with registering, you may call the registration office at the number listed above.

After School for Pre-K through 5th grade

The After School Enrichment Program provides enrichment learning including sports and fitness, homework assistance, STEAM-based activities in the areas of science, engineering, art, music, and much more. The program operates from school dismissal until 5:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday when school is in session on OCS traditional calendar school days. Snack is provided.

Preschool Academy available both in-person and virtual for ages 3-5-years-old

With both in-person and virtual opportunities, Preschool Academy is the perfect classroom for little ones this fall. Our curriculum-based learning uses age-appropriate activities to teach students numbers, letters, colors, rhythm, and science. Based on the weekly theme, students will partake in a wide variety of activities each day. Activities may be duplicated in In-Person and Virtual sessions.

Youth Fall Soccer League for ages 4 to 14-years-old

The Orange County Youth Soccer League is a developmental league for boys and girls ages 4 to 14 years old. Emphasis is placed on skill-building in both sport fundamentals and sport values.

Youth Flag Football League for ages 5 to 11-years-old

This youth flag football program offers youth ages 5 to 11 years old the opportunity to learn football fundamentals in a fun and fast-paced but non-contact environment. Emphasis is placed on skill development in sport fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
