Dear Community Member:

One Orange is a commitment by Orange County, Carrboro, Chapel Hill and Hillsborough leaders and staff to uncover and address implicit racial biases in our institutions and to create a community where race no longer predicts life outcomes in our community. For the past few months, representatives from these local governments have been working on a framework for engaging the community to move these efforts forward...

Employment News:
Virtual Interviews – Are You Prepared?

Many employers now interview candidates virtually, and more and more of these are conducted by a panel. Job seekers may see multiple faces or hear different voices. And some employers may turn off the video, making it like a telephone interview with a group of people listening.  Are you ready for whichever way your interview will be conducted?

Employers save time and reduce costs by doing interviews these ways. For information and resources to help you prepare for your interview, read the full article.
