speech bubbles - "FEEDBACK"

March is Senior Center Evaluation Month

Help Us Help You by Completing a Survey!

Did you know that it’s very important to give your feedback on our senior centers’ programs, courses and classes?  Feedback on our activities helps the staff develop better programs, and meets funding requirements.  The surveys also show the impact our senior center programs have on participants’ lives, which may influence future funding.

To get feedback on all our program areas, we will collect the Senior Center Surveys during March for all our ongoing classes and programs, as well as during classes with a beginning and ending date, all year.  If you are taking a virtual class one will either be emailed or mailed to you. If we fail to give you one, please ask for one by calling the front desk at other center. Visit Senior Center & Program Evaluations to take the surveys online.

If you completed a survey in September 2021 or since then, it’s time to complete another one and please remember to include your initials, the date you complete and your birthdate…this helps us to properly track the info. for data analysis.

50% of all jobs are not posted.
How do I find them?

More than 50% of all jobs are not posted. Many employers rely on their employees to recommend candidates. How can you use this information in your job search?

  1. You ask people for help in your job search because they know people you don’t. All you should expect them to do for you is to introduce, connect, refer, or give you names of people they know.
  2. When asking other people for job search help, many job seekers use a resume to inform them. Resumes have to be translated or interpreted. This takes time. Many people will say they don’t have time. And using your resume also raises questions, like “who do you want to meet?” or, “what kind of job are you looking for?” or, “do you have a target list?” or, “what’s the title of the person you want to meet?”
  3. Here’s a better way...
