June 2022

Summer is on the horizon and we are eagerly anticipating seeing all of our friends in summer camp. A few camp spaces still remain. Our summer athletic leagues, including youth basketball and adult basketball are accepting registration through the end of this week with play scheduled to begin in June.

Our Recreation Program Guide for July-December 2022 is now available.  Registration for most programs begins Wednesday, June 1 at 8:00 a.m..  Registration for Preschool and After School begins on July 15.

In-Person Registration: NOTE NEW LOCATION. Visit the Bonnie B. Davis Environment and Agricultural Center, Suite 140, 1020 US 70 West, Hillsborough during regular office hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-11:45 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.-4:30 p.m.
 
Online Registration: Registration is accepted online at www.orangecountync.gov/activityregistration. If you or your family has participated with us before and you do not know your account information, call 919.245.2660 during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-11:45 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.-4:30 p.m. ) for further assistance.

Summer Camp

Registration remains open for Orange County Recreation Summer Camps. Orange County Recreation camps are half-day, theme-based enrichment opportunities for children ages 4- to 12-years-old. When available, two half-day camps can be combined for a full day of childcare. Extended care available before (7:00 a.m.-8:00 a.m.) and after (5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.) traditional camp hours for an additional fee.  

Camps with open enrollment as of Thursday, May 26:

Registration accepted first-come, first-served for remaining camp spaces. Spaces limited and available camps subject to change with continuing enrollment.
