Halloween Spooktacular
Our annual Halloween Spooktacular carnival is this Saturday, October 26 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Central Recreation Center. Festivities include costume and pumpkin decorating contests, bounce houses, carnival games, face painting and magic shows, pumpkin bingo, a cake walk, and a pumpkin patch treasure hunt. All-inclusive wristbands will be sold at the door for $5.

Basketball Registration for youth ages 3- to 12-years-old

Reminder that the registration deadlines for youth winter basketball are upcoming. Registration for Start Smart Basketball for youth ages 3- to 5-years-old and parent/caregiver ends Saturday, October 26. Registration for league play for players ages 5- to 12-years-old ends Friday, October 25. Registration is accepted in person at the Central Recreation Center, 302 West Tryon Street, Hillsborough, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (closed for lunch 1:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m.). Registration is accepted online at www.orangecountync.gov/ActivityRegistration 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.
