The Orange County Board of Adjustment consists of five members, plus two alternates, all of whom are residents of Orange County's Planning Jurisdiction. The Board Of Adjustment shall have the following powers: • Hear, review, and decide appeals from and review any order requirement, decision, determination made by the Zoning Officer in the performance of official duties. • Hear and decide applications for the approval of those Special Uses requiring Board of Adjustment approval, in accordance with the rules and conditions laid down in the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO). • Hear and decide appeals for variances from the dimensional regulations of the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO). • Decide or determine other matters as may be required by the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) or State law. |
