Application Process
Vendors who wish to do business with Orange County are encouraged to visit current bids to view bid opportunities. A vendor application does not entitle a vendor to any particular solicitation. It is the potential bidder's responsibility to periodically check this website and to make contact with the Purchasing Division. A vendor must complete the online application for each vendor list you want to be included on.
Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) and North Carolina Small Business Enterprise Certification (NCSBE)
Any vendor who wishes to become a Certified HUB or NCSBE firm with the North Carolina Department of Administration (NCDOA) should register their company's information with the NC Vendor Portal. Certification provides greater exposure to procurement and contracting opportunities.
