Disability Benefits
Veterans Affairs (VA) disability compensation is a benefit paid to veterans who are disabled by an injury or illness incurred or aggravated during active military service. The Non-Service Connected Pension is available to wartime veterans who have limited income and are either over age 65 or are unable to maintain employment.
- Disability Compensation: You may be eligible if you have a service-connected disability rated at 10% or higher.
- Disability Pension: This may apply if you are a wartime veteran with limited income and are no longer able to work.
Time Limits: There is no deadline to apply for VA disability benefits.
