The Orange County Board of Equalization and Review has set its schedule for 2023. All meetings listed below will be held in the Tax Conference Room on the third floor of the Gateway Center, 228 South Churton Street in Hillsborough. The Board will meet on the following days at 1 p.m.
- Tuesday, June 6
- Wednesday, June 7
- Thursday, June 8
- Tuesday, June 20
- Wednesday, June 21
- Thursday, June 22 – Meeting to Adjourn
The purpose of each meeting is to receive and hear taxpayer appeals regarding 2023 real and personal property valuations. The Board will adjourn from receiving new appeals at its June 22 hearing. In the event of any change in the adjournment date, notice to that effect will be published.
Forms and instructions for the Notice of Appeal to the Board of Equalization and Review are available on the Orange County website: www.orangecountync.gov/Appeal. Appeals may be filed online at www.orangecountync.gov/Appeals or returned to the Orange County Tax Office by mail or in person. All appeals must be submitted prior to the Board’s adjournment on Thursday, June 22, 2023.
