The Orange County Department on Aging and the Project EngAGE End of Life Choices Senior Resource Team invite the public to attend a discussion with Final Exit Network on August 13.
Final Exit Network advocates for the rights of individuals to make deeply personal decisions regarding their own bodies and end-of-life care. The organization provides information, emotional support, and guidance to those considering medical aid in dying or other end-of-life planning, ensuring their choices are honored with dignity and respect. This conversation is essential for individuals, families, and caregivers who want to better understand the full spectrum of what Final Exit Network represents. By creating a space that is open, educational, and nonjudgmental, we hope to empower our community with knowledge and compassion.
Participants will learn about the resources Final Exit Network provides to individuals facing terminal, irreversible, or unbearable medical conditions who seek to make informed and empowered decisions about their care and quality of life.
This FREE event will take place on Wed, Aug 13 from 4 – 5:30 pm at the Seymour Center, located at 2551 Homestead Rd in Chapel Hill. Please register by Mon, Aug 11 at 919-968-2070.
If you have questions or need assistance with registration, please contact Shenae McPherson at 919-245-4243.
