The Orange County Department on Aging and the NC Seniors’ Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) will host its final free “Welcome to Medicare” seminar for the spring on Wednesday, May 22, at the Orange County Main Library in Hillsborough (137 W. Margaret Lane). The seminar will start at 4;30 p.m. and last for 90 minutes.
Are you turning 65 and eligible for Medicare? Do you feel overwhelmed by all the information “bombarding” you? Whether you are retiring soon, already retired or continuing to work, you’ll get valuable information including how and when to enroll, potential penalties for late enrollment, Medicare’s costs, benefits and options. The session will cover Medicare – and all its parts.
