[ARCHIVED] Orange County celebrates National Family Caregiver Month with Caregiver Day of Care

Seymour Center

The Orange County Department on Aging invites family caregivers to join us for a time of self-care, wellness and appreciation at the Caregiver Day of Care, honoring the efforts and commitment of family caregivers in Orange County.

Join us on Monday, November 7, from 9:00 am – 12 pm at the Seymour Center located at 2551 Homestead Road in Chapel Hill. Caregivers will enjoy:

  • Tutorials of self-care activities
  • Wellness activities
  • Educational classes
  • A resource fair with vendors serving older adults and family caregivers
  • Refreshments, giveaways and more!

The event is FREE. Participants are asked to register by Thursday, November 3. For more information and to register, please call 919-968-2070.
