Orange County administrative offices will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. Some services normally open to the public will also be closed on July 4.
Solid Waste Management
Recycling and convenience centers, Solid Waste administrative offices and the landfill and all related services will be closed on Tuesday, July 4. Curbside recycling will not be collected as normally scheduled on Tuesday. Recycling will be delayed one day and will be collected on Wednesday, July 5.
Library
All locations will be closed on Tuesday, July 4.
Orange County Public Transportation
OCPT will operate limited service to the county dialysis center ONLY (Carolina Dialysis) on Tuesday. Full service will resume Wednesday, July 5.
As always, emergency services are available seven days a week, 24 hours a day. The county will resume normal operating schedules on Wednesday, July 5.
