The Orange County Department on Aging and the Project EngAGE Mental Wellness Senior Resource Team invite the public to attend Aging and the Five Senses Series: Vision on September 13.

Let's talk about VISION in the next program of our "Aging and the Five Senses" Series. Did you know vision is one of the first of our five senses to change as we begin to age?

We’ll learn about age-related vision changes, adaptations, and eye conditions that can develop as we age. The interactive demonstrations will provide examples that simulate various age-related eye conditions such as macular degeneration, cataracts, and more. Join Dr. Beth Friedland, UNC Ophthalmology, for an interactive conversation about what to expect from our vision as we age and how we can create healthy eyes.

The event will take place on Fri, Sep 13, from 4 - 5:30 pm at the Seymour Center, located at 2551 Homestead Rd. in Chapel Hill.

Please register by Thu, Sep 12, with the Seymour Center front desk at 919-968-2070.

For more information, please contact Shenae McPherson at shmcpherson@orangecountync.gov or 919-245-4273.
