January 17 – Orange County
January 18 – Carrboro
- Youth-Led MLK Celebration

Details: An inspiring event led by local youth to honor Dr. King’s legacy.

January 19 – Hillsborough & Chapel Hill
- Hillsborough:
- 2:00 PM: Gathering at the Orange County Historical Courthouse (104 E. King St., Hillsborough, NC 27278), followed by a march to Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
- 3:00 PM: 30th Anniversary MLK Day Program at Mount Zion Baptist Church (5124 Hwy 86 North, Hillsborough, NC 27278).
