The Orange County Sportsplex will host Safe Kids Day on Saturday, May 11, from 10 a.m. to Noon. Safe Kids Day focuses on water safety, fire safety, home safety and sports safety. We will have interactive games and tables provided by our local law enforcement, fire safety and public health partners and organizations and businesses within the community.
The family friendly event will many free activities, including Ice Skating, Touch a Truck, Fire Safety House, Popcorn and Snowcones, Bike Rodeo Course and Helmet Giveaway, Child ID and Solar Bracelet Making, Balloon Animals, Face Painting, Temporary Tattoos, Obstacle Course with Inflatable, Vendor Fair, Sports Clinics, UNC Wellness Sports Safety and Hydration, Water Safety activities, and Sportsplex giveaways.
Additionally, the Sportsplex will be waiving the initiation fee on all new memberships.
