Orange County taxpayers and residents now have more information about their property at their fingertips, thanks to two new initiatives from the Orange County Tax Office.

Property Record Card (PRC) allows visitors to review data on record for your property. It combines the entire parcel and property details into a single place. You can search by filters, map selection, or using both.

This web service gives you the ability to send comments on your property details and to notify the tax office of any errors you may find. It includes interactive mapping and printable property reports.

Public Comper is a tool you can use to analyze your property value. You can easily select, review, validate and share comparable sales on a map. Relevant sales information is displayed and can be used to create reports about your property value.

You can quickly locate sales information or change search characteristics to find properties that are similar to yours, create reports and review similar nearby properties. Each search can be changed to fit your needs and quickly find the best sales to compare to your property.

Both of these services can be found at www.orangecountync.gov/728/Tax-Administration.

The Tax Office encourages you to review your property information in the near future to prepare for the 2021 Property Revaluation. Use these tools to notify our office of any errors in your property record. We will be able to correct the errors before the 2021 Revaluation.

The purpose of a property revaluation is to re-establish equity among properties that may have appreciated or depreciated in value at different rates since the County's last revaluation.
