The Orange County Department on Aging is proud to announce the graduation of the fifth class of the Project EngAGE Senior Leadership Program.
The ceremony will take place on Thursday, Jan. 9, from 4:30–6 p.m. at the Passmore Center (103 Meadowlands Drive, Hillsborough).
The public and county officials are invited to join Project EngAGE Senior Leaders and their families to celebrate this milestone achievement.
A total of 14 Senior Leaders will graduate. The class members include:
Linda M. Burnette, Carolyn Cattle, Linda Cook, Phyllis C. Fearrington, Felicita Feliciano Rivera, Herbert Gross, Becki Horne, Kim Kelleher, Marisa Menold, Candace Midgett, Donna Nicholais, Joyce Sandy, Tim Sukow, and Mary Williams.
These dynamic lifelong learners will serve as resources for older adults in the community and will join teams to lead community improvement projects.
Project EngAGE is a 13-week senior leadership program created to empower and enable older adults to make a difference in Orange County communities. Senior Leaders were selected because of their dedication and connection to their communities and their interest in making Orange County an ideal place to age well.
