Orange County Elections has a new feature on its website to help voters reach their voting sites during early voting and on Election Day.

Map Your Trip is a web-based tool that allows voters to view their voting location and determine the best route to their polling place. The map also shows if any public transit options are available to the destination.

“We want to make voting as accessible as possible,” said Orange County Elections Director Rachel Raper. “Map Your Trip allows voters to choose their preferred mode of transportation, including public transit, while participating in the electoral process.”

The new tool is found on the Orange County website at www.orangecountync.gov/2003/Map-Your-Trip.

Early voting for the March 3 primary begins Feb. 13 at six early voting sites, including a new location at University Mall.

Same day voter registration is available during the early voting period at all six early voting sites with proof of Orange County residency. A same-day registrant is eligible to vote during the early voting period only- not on Election Day, March 3.
