Orange County Department of Social Services/Orange County NC Works Career Center will host its first Skills Trade Industry “Drive Through” Career Expo on Wednesday, Nov. 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This career expo will be located in the parking lot of 113 Mayo Street, Hillsborough, NC 27278. There will be markers directing job seekers where to go.
This event is open to the public and is for job seekers interested in careers in Healthcare. There will be approximately 5-10 employers with a variety of positions within the Skills Trade Industry Career Field. Listed are open positions that employers will be hiring for at this event: Pro Desk Associate, Building Materials Associate, Paint Associate, General Laborer, Journeyman Carpenter, Plumber, Building Management, Facilities Maintenance. Veterans seeking employment are encouraged to attend.
Orange County DSS/ OC NC Works Career Center encourage job seekers to print their resume, dress for success and prepare to make a positive impression on employers.
Job Seekers will be required to stay in their vehicles while participating in this event and practice the state and local government’s guidelines for social and physical distancing.
