This autobiography recounts his life of slavery, how this led him to become one of the most famous orators and former slave of his time. As you journey with him, you will find many of his experiences that can be used as lessons for today.
Electronic copies of the book will be made available for pick up at the Seymour Center (2551 Homestead Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27516) front desk, on Thursday, Sept. 20 and Thursday, Sept. 27, from 6:30 - 8 p.m.
Weekly discussions will be led by Dr. Theodore Parrish on Thursdays throughout October, beginning Oct. 4. Each session will be from 6:30 - 8 p.m.
