The Orange County Department on Aging and the Project EngAGE End of Life Choices Senior Resource Team invite the public to attend a virtual/in-person discussion, Advance Directives Made Easy on Nov. 9.

Advance directives can be overwhelming and confusing; this umbrella term encompasses a variety of forms for one to choose from, let’s make the process of sorting through them a little easier.  Join our Project EngAGE End of Life Choices Senior Resource Team members for an honest discussion about the types of advance directives and how to find the one that suits your needs.

Presenter:

  • Betty Myers, Project EngAGE, Duke Equal ACP-trained community health worker
  • Ina Stern, Project EngAGE, Duke Equal ACP-trained community health worker
  • Anne Weston, Green Burial Project, Duke Equal ACP-trained community health worker

The event will take place on Tue, Nov 9, from 4 – 5:30 p.m. via a virtual platform with limited seated for in-person viewing.

Please register for in-person attendance by Thursday, Nov. 3 with the Seymour Center front desk at 919-968-2070. Maximum in-person attendance: 26.
