This is to inform the public that a public hearing will be held on the proposed FY2024 Community Transportation Program Application to be submitted to the North Carolina Department of Transportation no later than February 8, 2023. The public hearing will be held on Feb. 7, 2023 at 7 p.m. before the Orange County Board of County Commissioners at 300 W. Tryon St Whitted Bldg. Room 230, Hillsborough, NC 27278.

The Community Transportation Program provides assistance to coordinate existing transportation programs operating in Orange County as well as provides transportation options and services for the communities within this service area. These services are currently provided using fixed, demand response, deviated fixed, and subscription routes. Services are rendered by Orange County Transportation Services.
