About me:
I have been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2013 and a Registered Nurse since 2008. Nurse practitioners are advanced practice nurses who have received additional education, certification and licensure so that we can diagnose and treat medical conditions. One of my favorite things about nurse practitioners, and why I chose this profession, is our focus on health promotion, prevention and focusing on the whole person instead of the individual disease process. As a Family Nurse Practitioner I love being able to work with the entire family to help them achieve their health goals and watching (and helping) families grow and change. My areas of interest include women’s health, LGBTQ health and sexual/reproductive health.
