Animal Services Advisory Board

Overview

The Animal Services Advisory Board (ASAB) helps the Board of County Commissioners by giving advice on animal issues in the county. They also work with the Animal Services department to discuss policies and other concerns.Visit this page for Orange County Volunteer Board Policies and Procedures.

Public Participation

The Advisory Board and committee meetings are open to everyone. Animal Services Hearing Panel Pool

There is a pool from which people are drawn to serve on hearing panels for dangerous dog declarations and other actions taken by Animal Services staff. This pool is entirely independent of Animal Services staff and its members are appointed by the Board of County Commissioners. Go here for more information and application.
