Program Refund Policy

Program fees are 100% refundable when the program is cancelled by the department.

Details

  • If requested seven or more days prior to the first program date, a full refund less a $5 administrative fee will be given. No administrative fee is charged if a household credit is accepted. 
  • No refund will be given if requested less than seven days before the first program date. 
  • Credit card fees are non-refundable.
  • Summer Camps exception below.

For Summer Camps only

If requested prior to Friday, May 2, a refund will be issued less a 20% processing fee per camp and/or extended care cancelled. After close of business on May 2, no refunds will be issued. 

Camps are non-transferable; a camp enrollment for one child cannot be given to another. Refund exceptions may be made with documentation for academic requirements or medical necessity.

Facilities Use Refund Policy (Picnic Shelters, Fields, Gymnasium, Courts)

Refund requests must be in writing and must meet certain deadlines. Processing fees will apply to all refunds.

Inclement Weather

Refunds due to inclement weather will be issued if the County Manager closes county offices. Should a County facility be closed due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, the party making the reservation will be given the option to reschedule, before being refunded all reservation/damage deposits and usage fees.
