The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)
The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is a supplemental food assistance program offered through Orange County Social Services. Monthly food distribution events are scheduled every fourth Thursday. Eligible recipients must receive FNS benefits (also known as food stamps) or meet income requirements.
The TEFAP distribution will be held the 4th Thursday of the month on a first come first serve basis. The food distribution will begin at 9:00 a.m. There are a limited number of food boxes available. The distribution will be held at the DSS office in Hillsborough, 113-B Mayo Street, patio area. Distribution dates are subject to change if agency is closed.
