Preschool Academy

Preschool Academy is the perfect in-person classroom for your little one. Our curriculum uses age-appropriate activities to teach students numbers, letters, colors, rhythm, and science. Based on the weekly theme, students will partake in a wide variety of activities each day. This program provides both academic enrichment and socialization opportunities. Snack is provided. Note that the classroom does have a television that may be used for limited academic instruction purposes (such as facilitating song and movement segment).

Schedule

Enrollment is available part-time, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., either 2-days-per-week or 3-days-per-week. Participants can also choose to attend all 5 days, M-F, by registering their child for both sessions. Different activities will occur on each of the days.

Daily activities include starting the day with whole group circle time with a story selected based on the weekly theme. We then move on to structured learning activities which include focus on literacy, science, cooking, math, and art. Following those activities, we will move on to snack which can be provided or sent from home followed by free play on the playground. When we return to the classroom, students will have their choice of discovery centers such as sensory tables, building, library, and dramatic play.

Registration

Priority registration is given to returning students. Month-to-month, enrolled students must confirm enrollment with payment by 5:00 p.m. on the 15th of each month (or first business day following in the event of weekend or holiday). At 5:00 p.m. any remaining spaces will be available for open enrollment online or in person with payment due at the time of enrollment. 

Monthly fees will not be prorated for partial attendance, holidays, or other non-class days.

Registration is not confirmed and student may not begin attendance until a welcome notice is received in writing from Preschool Academy staff in order to ensure adequate supplies are prepared.

Program Requirements

Enrolled participants must be potty-trained. Diapers or pull-ups are not acceptable in Preschool Academy.
