Who We Are
The Orange County Rapid Rehousing (RRH) Program, administered by the Orange County Partnership to End Homelessness (OCPEH), is part of a coordinated effort to address homelessness in our community. Our program is supported by federal funding from the HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), and the Continuum of Care (CoC) initiatives. We are committed to providing flexible, responsive housing assistance to individuals and families experiencing homelessness, with the goal of achieving long-term housing stability. Referrals for RRH will come through the HOME Committee and Orange County’s Coordinated Entry process (the Housing Helpline).
How We Help
The RRH Program offers support through coordinated entry, housing search assistance, financial aid, and connections to essential services. Eligible participants work with a dedicated RRH case manager to complete an intake process, verify homelessness status and income, and develop a Housing Stability Action Plan (HSAP). This plan helps guide individuals toward permanent housing by considering income, expenses, available assistance, and housing options.
Participants meet with their case manager on a monthly basis to review progress and adjust their plans as needed. While participation in services is not mandatory, we provide ongoing support tailored to each household’s needs. Our approach is designed to be flexible and supportive, empowering people to move quickly from homelessness into stable, permanent housing.
