OCDoA Upcoming Monthly Events Podcast for people who are blind or print impaired.

The North Carolina Reading Service (NCRS), is a 24/7 news and information service reading newspapers, magazines and other forms of printed material for people who are blind or print impaired using the latest audio technology. Volunteers read the local news, editorials, obituaries, literature, and featured articles from daily, weekly, and biweekly newspapers, including the News & Observer and USA Today. We also host original interview programs that discuss specific subjects such as education, community connections, tech tips, legal matters, veteran experiences and many more. This is made possible by dedicated volunteers who donate more than 8,000 hours annually so people who are blind and print impaired can receive the same ease of access to current information as their sighted peers.
