Prenatal health care

If you plan to get pregnant, we can help you get the care you need before and during pregnancy.  Learn more about our prenatal clinical services .

Pregnancy care management

These services are available to pregnant people who qualify for Medicaid. We work with you to help you have a healthy pregnancy. Our services include helping you:

  • Identify health risks
  • Get to your appointments 
  • Keep track of your appointments and medications 
  • Schedule health care visits after you have had your baby
  • Get other help you may need

Counseling services

Postpartum and newborn home visiting

We offer new parents a one-time home visit after they leave the hospital. During our visit, our nurse will check on you and your baby. We can 

  • Provide information about family planning 
  • Answer questions about infant care 
  • Help you schedule medical appointments, and 
  • Make sure your home is safe for baby

Breastfeeding support

We provide breastfeeding education and support to new parents in Orange County. Services are available at home, at our Hillsborough clinic, or at Piedmont Health Services.
