Sick care and more
The Orange County Health Department offers primary (sick) care services for adults who are enrolled in family planning or maternal health care services . Our fees are based on your income. You can also get:
- Screening, monitoring, and referrals for health care needs
- Two free blood pressure checks each year
- Free or low-cost vaccines for:
- Hepatitis A and B
- Hepatitis A
- Hepatitis B
- HPV (Human Papillomavirus)
- Influenza (flu)
- Meningococcal
- Pneumococcal (pneumonia)
- Shingles (herpes zoster)
- Varicella (chickenpox)
If you want the Health Department to help manage a chronic condition, we will need a note from your doctor.

Orange County nutrition counseling and diabetes management
Registered dietitians and nutrition professionals at the Health Department can help you prevent and manage health conditions. They will work with you to create meal and exercise plans to help you feel your best. Learn more on our nutrition counseling and diabetes management webpage .
Counseling
The Orange County Health Department offers free, short-term professional counseling to our clinic patients. Appointments are available from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Visit the counseling webpage for more information.
